This was taken from my recent post as Eagle on:
The Rebel Planet's Message Board.
You know, we really need a huge change in what is available for people, not just in entertainment and religion, but in life. I have been given the opportunity to be in Redmond, Washington (Right across from Kirkland) for a convention called Generation (Church) Conferance, I have been looking forward to this for a while, I'll get to see some old friends, and "put the squeeze" on the people who bought our old house in Tacoma (Parkland, actually[to any who might care]).
After the Acquire The Fire conferance, and now in preparation for Gen. Conferance, I have been immersed in the Word and prayer, and the things that I had begun to take for granted are starting to disgust me again. So much that is our way of life, no matter where we live, is so completely un-Godly that it's difficult to grasp.
A guy named John Bevere came to The City Church down in Washington and spoke on Living our lives like a real Christian. If any of you went to Acquire The Fire, you know how close that message was to Pastor Bevere's. Maybe if we can learn to Keep It Real, and show it to others, we wouldn't need to even worry about the world's options, because after seeing our God work through us, this world would never be the same.
The Bible says that when a thief is caught, he must pay back seven times what he has stolen. The Bible also says that Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Well all, the thief has been caught in many people's lives, now we must show others where he is hiding, and demand that seven times what was taken.
That my friends (in response to
Blinked?'s post on the
Rebel Planet Message Board ) is when we will see another "Great Awakening" sweep the nation. Will it be the last or will we have more trials to face before we all see God? That my friends, is for the people who care more about religion than relationship to scream and shout about. Sure it's fun to talk about it, but come on people, let's drop that for a while and just rock this world for Jesus, or as an old Friend/Youth Pastor used to say, "Let's Raise Hell and Kill It!"
